After a buffet continental breakfast at Queen of the Murchison, we left Cue, aiming to reach New Norcia by 1:30pm. Apart from a brief stop at Paynes Find Roadhouse and Tavern we travelled straight through. We arrived in New Norcia just in time to join the two-hour walking tour of the town, which provided an overview of the town’s history and allowed access to many of the buildings. It was definitely worth doing the tour – we learned a lot, although we didn’t agree with some of the way the history was told.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a relaxing drink on the verandah of the New Norcia Hotel.

We stayed overnight in the New Norcia Hotel and enjoyed a delicious dinner, accompanied by New Norcia wine, in the hotel dining room.
